Welcome to the Help section- Message Board.

 Using our Message Board systems should be very simple and enjoyable. To access the message boards, please click on the Communications link which is on the left hand side navigation bar, then click on Discuss!. When you arrive in the Discuss! section, you will have three options to choose from. General Discussion (for site comments, movies, and book reviews, as well as general topics related to piracy), Pirate Legend Discussion (for discussions related to pirate legends, this includes topics such as myths surrounding buried treasure), and Pirate Fact Discussion (for discussions related to pirate facts, this includes topics such as pirate biographies, and essays). Once you click on the desired discussion, you will be taken to the discussions Message Listing page. From the Message Listing page, you will see all the messages posted on the discussion. Below, we have outlined instructions for how to post messages, view messages, and reply to messages on the message system (these instructions apply to all discussions).

Posting a new message:

From any page in the discussion section, click on the "Post Message" link, as illustrated in the following image:

Once you arrive, fill out all of the fields, and press the send button. Please note: the message system will not allow you to post if your message contains HTML markup language.

Viewing all of the messages:

 From any page in the discussion section, click on the "View Messages" link, as illustrated in the following image:

 Once you arrive, you will see all the messages in the discussion. To view the contents of any message, simply click on the message subject from the Message Listing.

Replying to messages:

 To reply to any message, you must first view the selected message from the Message Listing (by clicking on the message subject). Once the View Message Command has successfully loaded the message, simply click on the "reply to this message" button located below the message contents.
