I forgot to mention in the previous note below that I was gone on vacation
during the past 4 months. I know many of you have been waiting for a response to the
emails that you sent while I was gone, I'm very sorry for not having read (or
responded to) them sooner! Fortunately I've just about finished taking care of all
my past due correspondence, but have noticed that one or two of you have changed
email addresses in the meantime. Please note that I won't be able to respond in such
cases, but have tried! As for updates, a few major updates are in the works! It will
be a while before you seem them, unfortunately, as maintaining this web site (alone)
has become quite a difficult task. Which reminds me, please help by contributing
content/talent to this web site, thousands of people depend on this site for
historical information, they appreciate any additions
greatly!

I've completely redesigned the Pirates! Fact section,
which now provides pirate news as well as pirate history. Since news items will be
added rather frequently, the news item additions will not be listed on the what's
new section.

the world :). Various tweaks have been made today to make navigation more efficient.

Years! I've made some speed improvements that should speed up load times
considerably. I've also added some decorations to the site, I hope everyone will
